At this stage, we may tell the client that the idea doesn’t have a great chance of finding public funding in its current state. This does not mean that it is a bad project, but rather that it is not a perfect fit for the European programmes which are extremely specific in terms of the subject, the size, and the degree of maturity. If so, we will explore with the client the possibility of raising private funds, or we advise them on the main points to develop.
